    Exclamation RPC Vul scanning tool

"MS03-026 RPC Vulnerability" command-line scanning tool

X-Force just released a lightweight command-line tool to look for systems vulnerable to the RPC DCOM vulnerability. It's pretty nice because it doesn't require domain creds to look for the patch, and it won't DoS your boxes. For more info:

    Thanks for the link!

I've just played with this scanner for about half an hour. It had about an 80% accuracy rate but the one annoying thing is that it hangs quite a bit when scanning. None the less, it makes scanning for this vulnerability pretty painless.

Your other option is to fire up NESSUS. It is a bit more accurate and a lot more stable.
