    Apart from trying this Adware/Spyware removal stuff, i would suggest u start using MOZILLA Web Browser..it has got built in pop up blockage capability... IE is COLD...

    Search the file called HOSTS (no extension) and open with the notepad. If you don't have a HOSTS file yet, then create an empty textfile and rename it to remove the .txt extension.

    syntax:

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    Save the file. (note: type a space character after the 127.0.0.1)

    This is an example of how to block a website:

    127.0.0.1 www.news.com
