Mb 2 Gb ?
Can you convert MB to GB?
If soo how?
For example how many GB is 1282 MB?
Any help would be appriciated. Thanx in advance BLUEWOLF !

well usually 1024 is the K unit in computers...but sometimes back i read somewhere..(sorry source no available with me)...that HDD manufacturing companies use 1000 as the measure for K in computers too....
so
1000 b = 1K
1000 K = 1M
1000 M = 1G
so by this method 1282 MB = 1.282 M
but if we use 1024 as the unit(if u are talking abt applications than HDD space) then
1024 b = 1K
1024 K = 1M
1024 M = 1G
by which u have 1.251953125 G

do u think rounding off for such simple calculations would be fine(if we are not teaching a std 5 chap) .. i dont think so...he should have done it with 1024 only instead of 1000.
but my personal views...only

hey don't forget the most important file size that we use all the times... bits
8 bits = 1 byte
Just figure I would throw that in...
