Here is a passage from the treaty of tripolli

As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion.

Now this was a treaty signed by our first presidant, and ratified by our first congrass, if they are not the founding fathers of this country I don't know who is. So if they say we are not founded on the christian religion I have t beleive them

Furthermore, no one said that our government was founded on the christian religion. We are simply saying that it was founded with biblical principlals in mind. As whats been repeated, what? three or four times already???
