The modem is windows compliant , i tried with another computer its working fine,but not with my computer

EDIT:
OK the modem works on another computer..
I would suspect a problem with the mother board or wiring to the USB port..
Provided you used the same USB cable on both computers..that is..
What is happening ..as it appears is that you are spiking the 5v supply when the device is connected.. this can be because the current drain of the Modem is higher than other devices you have used.. and this is why the fault happens now.. the cause..
Check the Main PSU plug on the mobo.. see if there is any brown colouration on any of the pins.. also (assuming the usb connectors are the On-Board ones) check for any insect colonies on the reverse side of the mobo.. or the presence of any rodents in the case..(not intending to insult).. But check the MOBo PSU Plug..

BTW.. are the computers similar in respect to hardware.. psu, mobo, etc..

thanks undertaker, i checked and the problem is spike, thanks for ur valuable info, now the problem is sorted out
