    Windows NT

Well, since one of the only OSs by Microsoft that I havnt used (I had it but didnt get to use it) I decided to do some searching for Windows NT and see what I found. I know NT is old but if you look at the rate of people using Windows, almost all use NT. Even here in Michigan, GM is just now upgrading to Windows 2000. I think that says something. Also, any hacker usually knows a fair bit about NT because of the amount of people still using it. And for learning about security its great. Why is it great you ask? Well, its got a **** load of holes in it. So making a little Home network at your house, one OS you should have included is NT, securing it and then trying to break it is a great learning experiance. One way to set up a home network for hacking learning would have about 5 machines. One machine running Windows NT, Another running Free BSD, another running Linux, another running DOS, and another running BeOS, or something like that. This gives you alot of ways to learn, DOS may be old but it can run on almost anything. Anyway, to the point:

I found some websites that sys admins and others might find useful. If you use NT at work or at home this could come in handy for you:

    http://www.sysinternals.com/

The above website has a nice list of tools that you can use to secure and learn more about your OS. They have tools for:

Windows 95, NT, 98, 2000, ME, XP, and Linux. Enjoy.

    An NT help site.

    This is another helpfull site.

    Enjoy.

Actually it was some weird flu or something. I was dizzy for about 60 hours, they had me on meds so take that away. I stopped taking Vicodin the day it happened. I hope no one ever has to go through that. It was shitty. I could hardly walk.
