Hacking into PC
Hi,
I have some question you guys/girls might be able to help me with.
I'm using a yahoo messenger service to chat with friends. One of them got my ip number (I think when we were exchanging files) and he hacked into my computer.
I know he was in, cos all the files that are for him on my computer were deleted.
He ofcourse says, he didn't do it.
Now I would like to know, how can I hack into his computer???
Can this be done?
I have his ip address, but have no clue how to aproach this.
All I want to do is to copy some files from his comp onto mine, without him knowing it.
If you think I could make it and if can help me I would be most grateful.
Thanks
M

First of all, thats illegal. Secondly, revenge doesn't solve anything.
Btw, get a better firewall
And yes, it can be done.

yes I know its kinda illegal, but if I tell him I'll do it, it's not... I guess.
And I do have ZoneAlarm installed.
I thought that would be enough.

what your suggesting is illegal, thats not hacking thats cracking, breaking into some ones box with malicous intent is wrong no matter the reason, if he's deleted your files the best way to get back at him is to contact you ISP though abuse@your-ISP.com give them his IP adress date and time of attack and theyll sort it from there, probably getting him thrown off his ISP
honestly though, (actually i was being honest do the above) its possible, but this is a security forums/ community with the aim of keeping people like you out of computers,
I very much doubt that anyones gonna give you an answer becuase these boards arent about how to "hack", most people here have the knowledge to do what you want but i doubt they will,
read the FAQ's theyll tell you all
the best way to copy those files, (and more fun IMO) is to sneak in there and put them on floppy disk while hes not looking

ps:- this was a pretty shitty way to start out

Not exactly what we do here. And even if you tell him your going to do it doesnt make it legal.

I guess he is the only one...
Sorry for troubling you and getting you "mad",

we aint mad about asking ...we mad cause you didnt read the FAQ ..ok readung the FAQ is boring i know .. but yo could have at least read the AntiOnline intro page ....
What AntiOnline is NOT:
AO is not a place where the community's knowledge is used or passed on to others in order to carry out illegal or immoral acts.
AO is not a place where you should be asking how to exploit/damage/ attack any system that you do not own nor have the explicit permission of the legal owner.
and you better appriciate my post because i had to log out to copy the above information .....
