As suggested in earlier posts, use Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy . Plus, use the Kazaa Lite program which has also been linked in previous posts.
As for "stealing" music. I have downloaded many songs off Napster and Kazaa. I have also went on to buy the albums of certain groups that I first heard of, courtesy of Napster and Kazaa. (Evanescence, Green Wheel, Tool, Box Car Racer, Creed, Chevelle, Black Label Society, to name a few) To some big name bands like Metallica, and the earlier poster, Kazaa is nothing but theft, pure and simple. Yet to some unsigned act who does the local club scene year in and year out and whose name isn't recognized 100 miles down the road, something like Kazaa is the greatest damn form of advertising they could possibly hope for.
I\'d rather die on my feet than live my life on my knees.

My (drunk ass ) opinion may not carry to much whigth around here...any ways i feel that most kazza Direct DL users tend to bump into more diferent kinds of music than others and as a result buys more diferent kinds of music..thats my story anyways.. and as fare as i has seen on /. there is a few studys to go with that statment to.
i say long live kazza and other p2p programs...who let you listen to music and lets you make up your mind in peace before you buy a new cd.
and there is actualy ppl on p2p that do use it with out stealing anything...if not to many

That's what I was wondering, just because it's someone who obviously understands the Antipoint system, so they're apparantly very familiar with AO.
