Password Recovery for Win2K & XP

I was given a copy of ERD Commander today. I had never used it, or even heard of it before this afternoon. It really saved me a grip of work today, it allows you to reset lost/forgotten local Admin passwords in Win2K and XP. It has many other nice features also

Any of you windows network admins should look into getting this if you don't have it.

    Or.. knoppix
Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.

Well, with knoppix you can get a copy of the sam... and I don't need to say any more...

Yeah, I saw that knoppix is protesting. If you want to get their OS, you can still get it... just from mirrors. I thought knoppix was only good for a couple of reason... showing how cool linux is on the fly, and a couple of the tools they have.

www.knoppix-std.org is not protesting... and they have more useful tools when talking about security. An on the fly security toolbox.

You can also use the trinity rescue kit.
It is a mandrake based rescue kit for windows (like knoppix, you boot from a cd)
you can find it at: http://www.trinityhome.org/trk/index.html

It has script to help you reset lost passes, anti-virus software(f-prot atm), ntfsundelete.
I have yet to give it it test run but it sure sounds good.
