    Thumbs up Blaster Writer Caught

Just in case you haven't herd already they caught the punk that wrote blaster. I hope they throw the book at him.

Wonder if there going to try holding him accountable for the damage caused by different versions of the virus.

Give that guy a couple of minutes in a dark alley with some of my friends (who were affected with that worm in their networks) and he would be wishing he had not written it.

I would have expected the blaster author to have been younger than 18. It would take a pretty immature 18 year old to unleash such a nasty virus. Imagine how much money this guy cost corporations worldwide. Still, it's hard for me to picture whats going to happen to an 18 year old programmer in a federal prison. *OUCH*

Sorry but its just funny when you think of a bunch of nerdy teens in a dark lane pushing around an even nerdier teen for

'Putting tha' muvva*****er virus on my puter, man!'

    Sorry, crazed mental imagery.

LOL, I *love* the last post.....

However, more than likely, when this calms down the kid will be approached and hired to do development/security work and will end up making a boat load of cash. I know of serveral instances where this has happened.
