dun optimizer
I am stuck with a 56k dial up, usually I can connect @ 50666bps, however there is a tremendous amount of lag time when I am surfing. I have used a DUN optimizer but can't see any positive results. DSL, CABLE, etc.... is not available where I live, just dial up. So my question would be two parts; 1) is there any tweaks I can do to my dial up that will help the lag? 2) Are the DUN optimizer settings used on the DUN OPTIMIZER tweak maxed out for best performance.
I run 98SE w/ 256meg ram.
Would appreciate any help,
Mike

Have a look at
http://www.winguides.com
http://members.aol.com/axcel216/
you can download all the tweaks from the axcel site, gives you them all in text format,be easier then searching manual for the tweaks,
maybe have a read of this
http://www.greatware.net/boost_inter.../modem_tweaks/
might not be much help but worth a look
