    NMAP 3.45 is out

Yeah folks, the individual service footprinting feature (-sV) is certainly cool. The fingerprint database is actually populated enough to be useful. I've been sending new ones in all day.

They also have the W32 version out too (command line is the only worth while w32 build).

w00t, new NMAP! I must second you on that TH13, the service detection feature has been very useful and accurate.
Obstacles like SSL encryption and Sun RPC are no threat, as Nmap can
connect with OpenSSL (if available) as well as utilizing Nmap's RPC
    bruteforcer. IPv6 is also supported.

Oh.. I love it!! Although it didn't give back a full response from our "wargames server", I did run it against my home FreeBSD box and got this:

Great ... tried -sV option.. yeah gives quite a bit of info....

Frankly I was a avid user of nmap win gui version and hence found the command line more challenging and customizable......

    Thanks for info....

    Bye
