very verdant and... green

minimalist style, which looks clean and perhaps a little too understated. Not sure why you've got the screen capture for the mouse tracking - any reason for this - a future feature to be implemented?

I think the frame in the centre could do with having a suitable background graphic in it, underneath the writing (something like a 20% translucentcy on a layer if you know what I mean) ... not so bold that it overwhelms the writing in the frame of course but something that would draw the eye and give it some interest.

As for company - a web design/hosting company. some thing that offers technical support and whatever other keywords you have put in the META tag

Mysterious... well its obscure I'll give you that... without any other content on board - a little too obscure - obviously that will change with time.

Are you intending this to be a title/gateway page or is there going to be any further content on it?

Thanks, that was invaluable for me.

The mouse thingi is because when i finally get over with the design of the website, i want the users to feel the alignment, and feel the accuracy, let them know where they are, if you know what i mean.

Yes, its a hosting company, web design firm. Mysterious was the wrong word.
Yes this will be a first page to a website which'll have content in it later.

ummmmmmmmm all am gettin is first page with chalkboard is that it?
you could make a lil bit more intresting in (oh heres a surrprise from me) flash

same kind of thing but make piece of chalk a movieclip then create new layer with "uploading etc" as a motion guide so that chalk mc movies along it as if writing then use the hit test actions to display another movieclip containing the writing as chalk moves across it to give appearance that it is being written

could even use getBytesTotal command to control progression of chalk so that writes more as more of site is loaded

just a thought
