This is quite interesting news, I wager that it'd just dent MS's armor, no serious damage done. But a JAVA desktop?? Gotta see it to believe it.

Considering it Java based, would expect it needing more processor power. Speaking of which, Intel has just announce a new processor with "dual" capabilities, coincidence?

    my 2 cents ..
well, they have to do something new, otherwise ... they are out of market in no time.
specially; with their un-updated sparc technology ...

i believe SUN is a big looooser these days comparing it to IBM & HP, specially after the release of Itanium, which grabed MS & Intel to the enterprise market of 64-bit processing !!
