I think its the package "pppoe" that needs to be installed, it may already be on the machine so try..... adsl-setup ........ on the commandline and if its there you will be presented with some questions to answer ... you will be asked your login / password and DNS from memory ... so have these details handy.
If ... adsl-setup ... does nothing you, need to install the pppoe.rpm file, it will be on one of the install CD's.
