cc mail doubles

Hey all,

I have a problem..

The mail server at work using postfix and fetchmail gives me some trouble,
i've worked thrue most.. but there is one problem I can't seem te fix..

As soon as someone sends a mail with a CC, both recipients get the mail twice..

The mail is first stored at our hosting provider and two mails are received (that seems OK to me) with fetchmail..

then Postfix sends them to each reciepient (twice)..

does anyone have any idea what might be wrong ??

I can't seem to find a setup for postfix to deliver to everyone on CC list so I'm assuming that the hosting provider is doing something stupid - like sending the mail twice and each mail has 2 RCPT TO: commands.

Can you look in the logs and verify this.

Also if you are using alias's and or mailing lists this may be causing you a problem.

As an afterthought the delivery isn't like this is it?

Local Mail --> Postfix --> Hosting Provider --> Postfix --> Local Delivery?

Because postfix may be cloning at the point it's handing mail to the hosting provider.

Yeah.. I think that's what it does..

Procmail can fix my trouble, but it's an old server and I don't wanna touch anything
it's like mikado you know..

Soon my pall "ranzbak" will be building a new server, so I'll just stick with them double CC's for the time being..
