"We have not found at this point actual weapons. It does not mean we've concluded there are no actual weapons. It means at this point in time...

He, he, I remember Nixon's press secretary was fond of saying "at this point in time"
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

Yeah, the Bush Administration is going to be in deep doo doo if these weapons don't turn up. I think the thing people need to keep in mind though, is not where are the WMD, but where is the proof that they were indeed destroyed! Saddam was under obligation by the United Nations to show he destroyed the WMD; to this date he has failed to do so.

    Just my thoughts there rcgreen.

Doo doo from whom? If that were true then the protesters would have had his ass impeached a long time ago... What peaple forget is how many times we have went to war in countries we have no ties to and for no other reason other than to help the U.N. "police the world"... other than the fact its a bit more personal and costly how is this any different than those times we've fought as U.N. bounty hunters.

Yeah as for WMD... any moron can draw squares then print it out and call it sattlight pictures of some WMD factory. Was there weapons blah blah blah... who cares. IF a stupid bitch has a gun then that a good enought reason for me to blast his brains out before he tries doing that to me.

    Personally I don't give a **** about Saddam
    the peaple of Iraq
    WMD
And **** ethics... war & politics is never ethical... peaple should just wake up and realize this.

And if anything else, what peaple should really worry about is keeping their god damn jobs... I mean look around you. Homelessness is going up, costs are shooting up and down, & (ect). Meanwhile "they claim" that our tax dallors are going to rebuilding some stupid ****ing oil monkey's libarary or pig farm.

WMD's will be found. I know this because they have been used before on Iraq's own citizens, and ther previous presidencies new about the WMD's. Its just a matter of time.

Kay did not reveal any bombshells but said that he had enough evidence to show that former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein (search) had been violating U.N. disarmament resolutions up until as recently as this year, including by having very substantial chemical and biological weapons plans.

"At this point we have found substantial evidence of an intent of senior-level Iraqi officials, including Saddam, to continue production at some future point in time of weapons of mass destruction. We have not found at this point actual weapons," he said.

Kay said Iraq's nuclear weapons program appears to have been the least developed program uncovered so far, but the country did have bombs that could fly as far as 1,000 kilometers, much further than the 93-kilometer limit the U.N. had imposed on the country.

Something that is very important that is drowned out by the FUD is that biological and chemical weapons both have very short shelf lifes. The old anthrax and nerve gas the bush administration yapped so much about and wanted proof that it was destroyed would be totally useless now and for along time(years). The iraqis never put anthrax into a dried form which is the only way to keep it viable for any amount of time. Nerve gasses and such also break down and lose effectiveness very quickly also. The fact is it is very easy to produce bio/chem weapons, I have all that is needed to do pure culture work right here in my house and anyone with a year of university chem or bio could make very toxic gases or organisms quite easily(possibly not safely). But it is quite hard to be able to effectivley deploy or store them(ala the use of us goverment anthrax in the anthrax letters). As far as nuclear arms if they had anything to with that it would have been known as it takes a very large area and many. people to do. I find the whole issue quite laughable considering the us goverments recent discussions/plans to make "usable" nuclear weapons.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
The international ban against torturing prisoners of war does not necessarily apply to suspects detained in America\'s war on terror, Attorney General John Ashcroft told a Senate oversight committee

WTF dude, Once agian... Save themselves from whom? Many of the protesters are either bored of have nothing left to complain about other than the economy... Pluse for the first time in a long time we are now in control of our own operations instead of babey sitting other coutries for our allies & the U.N. who ask (or sometimes even offer to pay us) to protect countries that we have no major economical & political roles or ties to. But you know us americans don't give a **** about peaple in other coutries (I don't)

Pluse your forgeting that this is a country where our goverment sent spooks into villages then burned peaple's homes not to mention everything else... and lets not forget the patriot act.

    Doo doo from whom?

I meant that it could give political ammo to the left. Who knows how much ammo though.

I agree, Saddam was a filthy scum bag, and he's better off dead for everyone; especially us. Kim Jong il, watch your back, your next!

Save themselves from what the UN/world opinion would be of the president and the US because Bush guaranteed that WMD were in Iraq somewhere, but yet they haven't been found. Evidence of possible manufacturing have been found, but no actual WMD.
