    Be a Computer Specialist

Hi all, I want to be a computer specialist. So, what should I did, and what should I learned?

Ok, I am not being an ass but, it is learn. Learned is Past tense, as in you have already done so.

I am just letting you know because I am guessing English isn't your first language.

Now as for what to learn.

Depends what do you want to know how to do?

If you want to be a programmer, *Light Bulb Goes ON*
    Learn a language or 2 or 3.

If you want to be a Hardware guy try to get your A+.

It all depends on what you want to do.

Now in my own opinion. Everyone should be able to write a Website, and everyone shoudl know some about Hardware. After that it is based on what you want to do.

Now if you say what you want to specialize in then I can help you more.

Hope it helps, you can Pm me if you want to know more.

saying you want to be a computer specialist is like saying you want to be a doctor. doctor of what? english lit, phyc, med...what?? the field of computing is very broad and you must decide what you want to specialize in.

The ultimate way to know a lot about computers is to play with them. FInd your self an old box. Format it, install windows, learn how it works for a while then format it and install a different version of windows. Once you think you have the hang of windows, then play with linux. I'ts not a bad idea though to take a computer class at a local college. That way, theres usally a lab where you have to fix something. Just a nother way of getting hands on experience.
