    no problemo, you're welcomed! if you run *nix, linux, that file is most likely located in /etc/services so u can update from time to time... but you'll need to comment some lines since in the file from iana.org those lines aren't commented out with #

    Quick explanation of TCP and UDP Protocols... Very Quick...
    Imagine I'm holding a ton of pens, if I'm going to use TCP to give you the pens that I'm holding, I'm essentially going to hand them to you one at a time and ask you if you've received them before giving you another pen. If I'm handing you the pens with UDP, I'm just going to toss you the entire handful and walk away.
    TCP: More overhead, teensy bit of security/authentication, error control
    UDP: Less overhead, faster transfer of information, no error control
    I've left out a ton of stuff, I know, but wanted to help a bit.
