Just last week i got a apple mac se from the dump, i love retro stuff and i fired it up and it works perfectly. The day before they had 4 500mhz boxes dumped there and sold them for 15 pounds for all of them. I just got there on the wrong day, i will be going back!

You can sometimes find some cheap boxes/parts at goodwill. And if your lucky, you can go to the back and pick up the ones that they are throwing away.

Don't forget yard sales! People ALWAYS give away **** for nothing at yard sales. Usually they'll sell an old computer for a little more since it's a computer, but you can always haggle and throw jargon at them and they'll be like "Eh.. I guess I'll let it go for $10."

Or, you can just say "Hey, if you don't manage to sell that computer by the end of the day, I'll come pick it up and take it off your hands."
