A Good Site for Linux Newbies

A few weeks back, I attended an Intro to Linux presentation here at school. While I'm not totally new to Linux, I'm no expert either, so I went to maybe pick up something I didn't already know. Sure enough, I did.

    http://www.linuxcommand.org/

It's a website that goes into some depth with various shell commands, shows how to write some shell scripts, and has tons of man page listings. Best of all, it's at a very basic level, perfect for beginners.

    Hope this helps some...

I've recently found a nice forum for Linux newbies and old-bies alike. LinuxQuestions.org. People seem friendly and patient (at least they have been for me in an attempt to solve sound issues with an upgrade from Slack 9 - 9.1)
