Slackware Linux Essentials
A whole online book all about Slackware. You can also pick up a hardcopy for about $20.00

zexter...
Websites are nice, but if you really want to get indepth, and learn your system inside and out, you might want to frequent www.half.com
They have great stuff, you can pick up Linux books for just a few bucks...You'll also find that a lot of old UNIX tutorials from the oldschoolies will show you basic console commands as well.
I don't know, just my two cents, I've always found that getting the complete picture from a book is a little more consistent than piecing it together from websites...although sometimes you have to.

Just visit the linux documentation project, it has all the information you need and it is completely free. Slackware is my linux distro, it is very powerful, stable, secure, and doesnt use RPM, enjoy!
