Re: I am being attacked from all fronts!
If you have Xp you may notice pop ups still come thru. Even once spybot is run. This is because someone has hijacked your messenger (Not to be confused with Msn Messenger) to spam you. This messenger is normally used to send messages in house so to speak within an intranet. To disable these type of pop up. Go to control Panel then administrative tools choose/ click - Services within this pain find Messenger on the list. To the right of Messenger you will see four columns. Choose Start up type Left click the word in this column twice a properties pan pops up again look for the word Start up type click the arrow to the right of current selection a drop down list pops up choose disabled.
Again this will not disable your Msn Messenger this is a separate messenger service.
Good Luck all!

I would recommend Ad-Aware (http://www.ad-aware.com) and scann you entire pc with that. Also the google toolbar has a popup stopper that works fine for me.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD KAZAA OR IMESH!!! They are full of spy and ad ware.

Since this is already been really well covered, I can't say anything that would help you but I agree with endotoxin that it *is* funny to teach it to say dirty things....especially on other people's computers . I never had the thing installed on my own computer, but I'd mess with other people's and I knew from their experiences that I didn't want it.

Once upon a time, I saw a large text file that included several hundred annoying popup, porn, and spyware websites/IP addresses. The text file included instructions on how to copy it to your local hosts(?) file so that anytime a program demanded a popup, the machine checkd its own IP address and couldn't find it. Cut out ninety percent of the irritation I was getting. I believe it came with the "other" version of Kazaa...

Ehm,
This is pointed to adware.
Try ad-aware which you can download from htpp://www.download.com
This will remove your adware progs, even keys in your registry.

Download attacker from www.foundstone.com. This will notify you if someone or something is trying to connect to a udp or tcp port. Would'nt be a bad idea to buy yourself a copy of zone alarm and pest patrol.
There are many rewarding oppurtunities awaiting composure from like minds and great ideas. It in my objective to interconnect great things.

Hi all,
i'm totally new in this, so i hope i don't say anything wrong.
But i would also get lava soft Ad-aware 6 pro (for your problem) you can download this from Kazaa Lite at http://www.klitesite.com/ or get the official Kazaa, or just Lavaa Ad-aware 6.
I would not download zonealarm! I just had that product, and my system get unstable.
Kind regards
Frank
