    AntiOnline Quick Form Released(testing)

I just created this program that allows you to view the newest newest post, replies, and other information found on the antionline default page without actually going to the webpage.

This is a test version written in VB. I just wanted to know what people think of it. The final version will be realesed soon.

I got the same error that jm459 got while clicking visit AO.

    I'm using XP Pro sp1.

The update feature works and is pretty cool. The view thread is not really attractive... as it just shows the source, but if you scroll through it, you can find what you are looking for.

Cool little project you have going there.

Maybe you can set it to grab the newest posts from all the forums, and not just the front page? Or give users a way to track certain forums that they want. Let them be able to customize it? Or, track a certain thread, etc.

This probably won't work for the addicts forum... because you have to authenticate and meet certain requirements to get in there...
Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.

yes, i dodin't quite get the Visit AO to work. I was concentrating on the forum more. The view thread is just raw for now. I need to create a extraction function so only display the important data.

Component 'MSINET.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid[
But then I do have most ActiveX's functionality disabled....this is with WinXP Pro.. I will have a play later to fix any probs here.. but just confirm my theory that this is a ActivX prob pse..

    cheers

Perhaps now is the time to create a "code review" forum where whe can post code for all to test and learn from. I know that I have a pile of PERL scripts that I'd love to get exercised by more than 4 people. Anyone agree?

I agree.. I've had a few programs I'd love to post for users to critique and tear apart for me.. Add a Programming section or something under General Technologies.

That is an absolutely excellent idea! I am suprised that there isn't one already. I second the idea.

I fourth the vote. So Jupitermedia, how many votes do we need now?
