Netstat
I did a netstat in cmd and found out some interesting stuff each time I did it. For instance, today, it seems that someone is using netbios on my computer as it has netbios -ssn, -ns, and -dgm. How can I make sure that I have disabled netbios?

If you are running windows 2000 or Xp
Go to the Control Panel Right-click on "Network and Dial-up Connections" and choose Properties highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" then Click the Properties button, Advanced button then Click the WINS tab
Change the radio button at the bottom to "Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP and then Click OK on all open dialog boxes

I would have to go with DeadAddict on that one. THose settings can also be a cause of a few DUN/RAS errors. I've had many of calls where those setting were wrong and by simply changing them back.
