    Exclamation cisco 3640 console problem

    hi guys....

    well i ve a cisco 3640 router....the probm is console port is not working!!!! any simple ways to fix this problem??? i can get into the router thru the aux port...but the enable password is not set so i cannot got to enable mode!!!!! .......pls help

    Correct baudrate? 9600bps, 8bit, No parity, 1 stopbit. That should work. Unless someone changed it.

    Are you sure you are using the correct cable for the console port? What exacly doesn't work? You get garbage? Nothing at all?
