    When i bootup slackware 9.1 for the first time,im asked for a darkstar login.I don't remember being asked to set a password when i installed it.What should i do?

    What's a darkstar? Default computer name if you didn't specify one on install.

    Where's my KDE?

    Still have a little work to do first. But you are actually ready to start using the OS. Enter root at the prompt and then hit enter and you will be prompted for a password if you set one during install, otherwise you should be in.
