    How to remove static vxds?

After I run 'msconfig' in my Win ME and go to the 'Static VxDs' tab, there are many entries there. How do I remove some of those unwanted entries?
    Thanks!

Been awhile since I used ME, but there should be check boxes next to the various VxD's that are running. Just uncheck them? You might want to search around Google a little bit to make sure you aren't disabling something that is needed at bootup though....since most of them relate to networking and communications...

http://www.sysinternals.com/win9x/ut...s/vxdmon.shtml This is a nice little tool to examine what happens behind the scenes.

Unless you are having conflicts, I'm not exactly sure why you would want to disable them.

    Good Luck!
