    help Linux support for USB-ehci

    Hi guys,
I installed Linux 7.0 on a gateway laptop but on the first run after installation, it hanged at the following lines:

    Mounting usb filesystem [ok]
    Initializating usb-uhci controller [ok]
    Initializating ehci-hcd controller [ok]

    Any help?

I was wondering if there is support for the ehci-hcd controller in 7.0 or some problem. This is a brand new computer.

What distribution are you installing, Linux 7 really means nothing.

Red Hat 7 (AFAIK) did not automatically pick up usb. However Red Hat 9 did.
