I've updated your topic as a title of "Help" is a little vague.

And by stopping do you mean breaking into? Breaking the law so stop someone from breaking the law isn't a solution and may cause more problems than it solves. It's better to alert the authorities and let them deal with it.

? Child porn sites are forbidden by the law, so basically they are stopped, of course people still try to put child porn on the internet but there are enough authorised people looking for it. (I think at least)
The above sentences are produced by the propaganda and indoctrination of people manipulating my mind since 1987, hence, I cannot be held responsible for this post\'s content - me

Is this really a question? I mean who the hell in their right mind is going to say, "No, let's keep child porn alive and well."?

The LEO program (Law Enforcement Online) is the FBI's cyber crime unit based at Luisianna State University. I worked with this unit for close to two years. If you ever saw a child who has been victimized by the child porn trade, you'd never even think to ask a question like this. Better yet, if you ever interviewed the scum that exploits children you wouldn't let your children out of your sight. These people truly should be boiled in acid.

    Nuff said.

"YES" insofar as the properly constituted authorities should do so on behalf of the Societies that put them in authority.

It would be totally wrong to attempt to close a child pornography site by "hacking" (modern use not original meaning ) There are a number of reasons for this:

    1. Wrong + Wrong does not = Right
    2. The sites are the "tip of the iceberg", behind it all are child molesters and abusers . The objective is to put these creatures out of circulation, not to drive them underground. It is true that the "consumers" of child pornography are criminal, in that their money is creating the market, but they are "small fry" compared to the producers.
    3. To be successful requires some painstaking police work, in order to achieve legitimate prosecutions. Any amateur activity will potentially prejudice this work, destroy evidence, and alert the criminals.
    4. ISPs would not knowingly host such sites, if they do they should also be closed, their assets confiscated and their officers imprisoned..............that is the law in any civilised society.

Much as I dislike the regime, I feel that those found guilty of this offence should be sent to the Republic of Iran for sentencing.................I never thought of using a mobile crane for "that".....

    Good luck

Yes, if in the us call your local FBI and hand the matter over to them, if europ try interpol, don't know about the rest of the world. Back in my day as a computer tech I had three pedofials busted. Two had kiddy porn as their wallpaper when they brought their system in for work. The third was teh scary one, he was trying t buy a entire home production rig form us (camera, video capture, lights, high end system..this was back in 96 when no one was doing home video capture and quickcams didn't realy work) ..hey allways hasd one or two kids with him when he came in but they where allways difrent kids, had an FBI agent pose as a tech to get him.

I say that we just move all the porn to .sex and be done with it. Then everyone can just block that entirely.

To be serious thought child porn is wrong, and under no surcomstances should it be forgiven. I think anyone convicted of child porn should spend ten min. alone with the father or mother of the abused child. (note that the criminal would be tied in a chair and the parents would have a baseball bat)

i agree that yes these sites should not be allowed to exsist but nihil raised a good point that it is not the small fish that should be shut down we need to get to the source of the problem - but what about those people in internet chat-rooms who "groom" young children??
Is it right to use their own ploy against them?
perhaps pose as such a child and gather evidence against the groomer which can then be handed into the authorities??
