    Stupid question about liquid cooling

I'm going to be getting a liquid cooling system sometime in the future, and I'm wondering, can you use water to cool the power supply?

I havent seen anyone do it yet, but from what I heard you cannot get a great power increase or temp difference if you try to water cool your power supply.

I know water cooling is supposed to reduce noise, but I have quite a noisy power supply, and I've always been taught that water and electricity don't go well together.

CXGJarrod is quite right, you will not get any performance increase by water cooling your power supply. I would suggest getting a higher rated, better quality one instead. It would be safer and cheaper.

The water cooling you are thinking of is intended for the CPU which will perform better if it is kept cool.

You might also like to look for "peltiers" if you are into chilling your beer in your box

    Cheers
