Re-Install Ie 6.0 in WinXP
If this thread doesn;t belong here, I'm sorry. I think is the best place for this kind of info.
Their is a registry to key that able you to re-install IE 6.0 in Windows Xp. I got neg points when I said it was possible in another thread so here you go.
Open Regedit and go this keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}
Find the REG_DWORD call IsInstalled and modified it value from 1 to 0.
And just run the setup of IE again and don't forget to patch after

Uhm, you say it yourself, is this a tutorial?
You should post things like this in Microsoft Security Discussions for example? It's not security related but it does belong in Microsoft forum???
