    Unhappy spam question

    Do any of you know the address where I can foward my spam to the goverment so they can arrest the spammers?


    I just saw it on the news, but I didn't get a chance to write it down.

    I think it was utc@spam.gov or something like that.... Can any of you help me remember what it was.. i got some spam i want to send in.

    Here it is,
    Is your e-mail inbox crowded with messages promising get-rich-quick schemes, vacation prizes or miracle diets? You can put a stop to unsolicited e-mail, also known as spam, by forwarding it to the Federal Trade Commission. The FTC will investigate the e-mails for possible law enforcement action. Forward any spam you receive to uce@ftc.gov.

    yes...but will this actually do anything?...or will you just continue getting spamm...if not more., newer spamm..

    I don't know if it will do anything, but you should make an effort so spammers know that they are not welcome.

    (I forwarded all my spam this morning to my ex GF, lol)
    Real security doesn't come with an installer.

    Can you forward multiple emails at once?..or do you need to do them one at a time
    cause hat would suck

    If you are getting that much spam you might want to look at some spam detection systems -

    http://spamassassin.org/ is a good one that I use.
