    How fast is your box?

    K this is how it works... Download the little benchmarking program (use the 'combined performance index wizard'), bench your box, then post the results! Also post your what guts u have in your box.

    i got the sme problem...
    Lol, nothing is wrong with the installation files, works fine on xp, Win98 messed up so 70% of installation files crash

    Is your 2k box still stable? Or does it crash (almost) as much as a Win9x/ME box? If that's the case, I think it's time to reïnstall it...works fine on 2k too with me

    i could say its still pretty stable, but im gonna install winXP pro this weekend... i think... if i get to it.

    But then again i got pretty good performing machine
    AMD 2000+
    512MB DDR
    MSI KT4 Ultra
    Geforce 4 Ti4400

    and some fast Western Digital and Maxtor harddisks

    well one of my boxes the main one is fast enough P4 3.2 and i had 2 Gig DDR and i updated to 4 gig now, its tunning windows 2k3, and suse 9.0, its pretty fast i think
