Blue Screen Of Death
Can somebody please help I started up windows XP Pro this morning and the blue screen of death came up and the computer restarts every time I turn it on just after the XP logo comes up, but thanks to having good old linux I am able to do this post. I think the problem has been partially caused by Nero/InCD as this has happened before when writing to a CD
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP
THX,

It would be good if you posted more information. For example write down the message then post it. That way members will be able to have an idea as to what the cause might be.
Just a suggestion.

Have you tried going into safe mode ? Cause if you haven't it would be a good idea to give it a try.

well the cd is one that came with my burner so it is a bundled ver. if that makes any difference
and in the CD there is a folder called neroexpress55 so I assume it is ver. 5.5, is there any other way of telling from LINUX

Here give this a try.
[ Nero's -- Support Forum ]

Maybe that might help you. But I'll keep looking and see if I can find anything else. But in the meantime give that a shot.
Note: It would be a good idea if you download the InfoTool for any future problems that you might encounter.
