    windows XP Checksum error

    okay i've got and insipron 3200 with windows xp home edition on it and i just recently started a getting a blue screen on start up that says

    stop: c0000012 error (checksum error)
    the system image has an invalad checksum
    it is either corrupt or incomplete

    i think or sumthing close to that.... what do i do??

    Hey Mishka....this link should show you the reason for the checksum error screen you are getting....

    Apparently, either your User32.dll file is corrupted, you have bad RAM, or you need to install windows to a different folder. There are directions on that link that describe what you can do.
