Pop ups!
My are those damn pop ups legal?...arnt they a form of harassment?...and no one actually clicks them do they?
ps..about 13 popups poped up wheill i was filling this out!

Just get a pop up stopper and you will be grand. www.webattack.com there is a feck load of them and they are freeware, I havent seen a pop up in a long time, plus get Ad-Muncher, that'll make you think internet ads dont exist.

no no...thats not my complaint...i have one...im not at my home right now....shouldnt popups be illegal?
they are just like a cyber form of harassment...

yeah and they should make billboards illegal to - dont they just harrass you when your driving!! And what about magasine adverts - they harass you when your reading an article.....or TV comercials - harassing you by interupting your program

I'm not defending them - but they're just another form of advertising.
yes an annoying form but thats all they are - you don't want to see pop-ups take the advice of people in this thread and get a pop-up stopper
hell opera even comes with one built in!
you can't oulaw them just cause they are an annoyance no more than you can outlaw the TV comercials - if a site chooses to include pop-ups thats their business - anyways with the fact that anyone who is the tinyest bit net-savy now has a pop-up blocker they will soon stop being used as they are no longer getting seen and the advertisers will simply come-up with a new way of trying to get your attention.
