Outlook express Tilday (~) File
Hello,
Recently after installing Outlook Express 6, I have a file residing on my C: drive, the filename is just a ~ or a tilday, and it has no extension. When I open the file, it appear to be a duplicate of my contact list in OE6, I have no idea where the file came from, and due to the filename being a simple character, I am having alot of trouble locating information to explain it, leading me to question it's security.
I am wondering if anyone knows why it is generated, if anyone else has the file, and or if someone could point me to a relavant source of information for it.
I have all the latest patches installed, no viruses, and no spyware.
Thanks,

This will explain it for you: http://www.pchell.com/support/tildefile.shtml
It's a tilde, not tilday..that's probably why you couldn't find anything.
