    Linux 2.6.0

I've been real busy latley, but noticed two things which somone might be interested in:

    Just checked status of
    The Linux Kernel Archives

and noticed they now list the 2.6.0 as the "The latest stable version of the Linux kernel"

They seem to have taken down the 2.4 kernel from the main page for some reason.
now I'm waiting to see how long Fedora takes to update

    second:

Check Point Software Technologies to Acquire Zone Labs

    interesting!

    Happy holidays to all!!

Look to see most Distro's push out 2.6 with NSA SE Linux and Check Policy some time this spring or early
summer. So far I am the most impressed with the 2.6 series kernels (particularly the build process) that I have
been to date. Hardened with NSA SEL, I expect to see a jump in corporations migrating to Linux for their
high avialability servers and engineering workstations despite SCO's suicidal attempts to get in the way.

    Happy Hollidays

.... yea, Iíve been looking at

    Fedora Core 2 Schedule

Looks like a pretty ambitious time line, should be interesting.

    quoted from Slashdot:
    Some people talk during movies...
Some people munch loudly during movies...
Some people get phone calls during movies...
And then you've got that guy who codes kernels during movies....
This new kernel is impressive on some points. I'm waiting impatiently its implementation in major distros.
Life is boring. Play NetHack... --more--
