Recommended Firewalls?
What firewall do you guys recommend? I've been using zone alarm but it does this thing where it freezes my computer. what happens is, a new program opens up and its supposed to open a little window-thing to ask if i want to allow it access to the internet, but it never does... and then my system crashes.
Is there a better firewall out, like blackice or norton?
also, whats a good anti spyware/trojan/virus program? (right now i use spybot-search and destroy for spyware, the cleaner for trojans and mcaffe for virus scan)
thank you for your input

Have you ever used your eyes?
http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=252146
It's the fifth thread in Firewall & Honeypot Discussions
Next time, see if your question isn't already asked before.
Spybot is good (I think ), adware is also appreciated, never used it though.

Now that you have been given such a warm reception, let's see if we can actually be helpful.
In the upper right hand corner of the main page is the search bar. Enter firewalls in there, and that will give you a good place to start...opinions vary widely about firewalls. Spybot is a good cleaner, coupled with Adaware (provided in the link above)
The links directly below these posts will also give you relevant information.
Also, take time to browse the tutorials forum...there's a ton of good information in there also. Also review the FAQ located on the right side... it outlines some of the finer points of participation in AO.
Good luck.
EDIT: Yes you are. Scroll down further. It would be in the similar thread section.
