how to locate hugesearch.net spyware
i got a problem, cuz since a couple of days, every url i type in the browser space i got redirect automatically to the mainpage of hugesearch.net i also fixed it on the regedit, but seems to be useless, does anybody know if there's a way to fix it definitely and to remove this "auto-redirect" setting? thank u very much for ur help

Run a spyware/adware cleaner, check out this thread:

Ignore the "reformat and reinstall" option though. Oddly enough, Spybot and Adaware are never mentioned, I suppose since this exhibits some trojan characteristics.
By looking through the list of reg changes, it looks like a tough little bugger. Good Luck.

In my opinion, Lavasoft Adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ and Spybot Search and Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/ are both pretty easy to use and understand to take care of your spyware problem. It was earlier brought to my attention that it is best to use BOTH, as one will cover what the other has missed. Also, read up on what moxnix, groovicus, and el-half have posted to further help you.
