    Comp Sending lot of data

    I am running win2000. i connect to the internet through dail up modem recently i noticed that my computer is sending a lot of data. on using netstat i found that there were a lot of open connections. what might be causing this

    i have a attached a netstat screenshot one thing is very strange in it all the local and foreign ip addressed are in a sequence

    Looks like your infected with the MS Blaster worm based on the behavior I see from your netstat command.

    Read McAfee's site on how to detect and remove it http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/defau...virus_k=100547.
