Something Stupid with Security
Go Figure, I spelled stupid wrong in the title.
Hey Guys I know this is something stupid that I'm not doing, but I'm running a XP home Box thats connected to a printer that I want my XP Pro box to use.
Now I have the printer mapped and I see the printer, but whenever I try to print to it from the network it says I don't have permission to use it.
I have File and Printer sharing enabled on both computers, and I've made sure that I have Share this printer checked. I just can't print to it.
I can access other drives that I have mapped to that computer, just can't print.

can you print from DOS? Try printing from another box. Are you using any printer ports that are restricted or "view" only?
Maybe this will help you:

I try to print from DOS, and it says its printing but it doesn't.
I don't believe I'm using any restricted ports.
I hate windows.
I deleted the printer that I deleted about 3 times already and reinstalled it and now it works.
Oh well
Thanks for the help.

Title fixed.
What kind of printer is it? And what are the configurations for the ports, etc? Have you given permissions to the user to print and manage their own print jobs?
