Here you can find some resources for the VisNetic Firewall.

    http://www.deerfieldau.com.au/suppor...all/resources/

Before paying for it, get a free trial and see how it performs:

They currently have version 2.2 for download.

    Thanks for sources

I have installed it a few days ago, and cunfigured it. I just tested it on grc.com and results are ok. Anyone have more suggestions for test sites like grc.com's shields-up?

I use the last version 2.1.x and love it. It's stealth everywhere I've checked and I highly recommend it. The newer version includes tarpit technology and I'm not familiar with it or how it works.

are a few more places you can check the security. I don't think you'll have a problem. I use it preconfigured other than having filtering enabled, and I swear by it. It sits there, does its job, and doesn't pester me with pop up warnings. I've got complete confidence in Visnetic, which is really 8Signs firewall, by the way. 8Signs licenses its firewall to Deerfield. The price is the same too.
