Security Challenge List

After seeing all of the recent interest in "Hacker" Game Challenges, or Online Securit Challenges, I decided to create a list. Some of these are lists themselves, and many of them were found on Google. Zebulun from Cyberarmy is highly recommended.

Hope this isn't too newbish of a question but I don't get it, I am currently at http://www.hackits.de/challenge/oktr...vel1/index.php ( may have to register/ log in to get to a similar page ) it's supposed to be the first level of the oktranon wargame on this site, but when I click to go to level one it just brings me back to the main page :\

Scroll your mouse over challenge, then registration. You need register first and then log in. After that, it should work.

I used to mess with that one alot. I don't much anymore, moved onto new things. But this one is very popular, and supported. There are entire forums dedicated to getting through this.
I have learned much from this. It sports simple things such as a java window popping up, asking for a password; flash dialogs asking for username/password; and as far as I've gotten (level 6) a VB6 app that requires you to enter a whole shloo of information such as; password, username, proxy, URL, and more. This one gets way down to the facts. You learn about security in websites, and cracking programs, all of which can come in quite handy, at the given moments.

Heh, that was what got me, I already have registered and went to go to the first level, I click the link and it brings me back to the home page ( after logging in etc.. )

Hmm...are you sure its the same page? Could just be the test....look at the address/code. I'm not exactly sure, I haven't used all of them myself.

Zebulun from Cybearrmy is now hosted on Cyberarmy.com and is NOT affiliated at all with the CyberArmy organization, which is hosted at www.Cyberarmy.net. And actually, www.hackergames.net is run by the lovable CinC over at CA, Snarkles, and it is a _very_ extensive and awesome place to look for information on wargames and hacker challenges.
