No upgrade path for RH Enterprise rel 3

Technically, this is an OS issue but I know that *many* folks use Linux to run IDS software such as SNORT so I decided to post a link here too.

This is disgusting. The only reasoning I can see is that they had to rush this product to market.

Thats nuts. Seems like I just installed redhat 7.3. Sounds ancient compared to 9 but it came out after XP and Microsoft is still supporting that.
