National Security Awareness Day - September 10, 2004 (maybe?)
Well, Mark it in your calendars. I have to admit never hearing about this until recently seeing it mentioned in a mailing list today. Apparently the original date was October 26th but some in the US want to change it to September 10th. The date I suspect was chosen for a reason and reminder.
