Encrypt / Decrypt software for databases

I've recently compiled a database (in MS Access - yes, I know this isn't the safest place to keep passwords even when it is pw protected.) of my personal and work passwords (you net admins. know how fast pws. can pile up). I would like to know what is the best way to store pws. Is there any good freeware out there that does this without using 3rd party software (ie. MS Access)? SHould I just use something like PGP to encrypt and decrypt the file? Someone help. I'm writing this post on the fly so if you have questions don't hesitate to ask (not that i'll think you'll hesitate anyway ).

    Thanks

If you do not own the full version of PGP, then use GnuPG, the GNU free version of PGP.

I suggest place them in an MS Access file, password the MS Access file, then encrypt the MS Access file with PGP (GnuPG).
