re: gentoo install problems
Just a few basic questions to get a better understanding of your situation...
What specific problem(s) are you having with the gentoo install?
From what tarball stage are you starting the install?
Have you search the gentoo forums and/or google with any error syntax you've encountered?
PS - I'm assuming you didn't find anyone in your area since you didn't post back stating so.

i dont know what the problem is , if i knew i could probably fix it.
but i get all the way through a stage 3 install , reboot to the bootloader and i get some error message that i can remember cause i havent tried to install it in a long time , something about not finding the kernel or the boot sector or something.
and no, i havent found anyone in my area willing to help me
