Why not send an email to norton and ask for your registration number?

I mean that`s the logical thing to do isn`t it.

If your asking for a damn crack to it...well...that`s foolish to do here.

I will give you the benifit of the doubt because i figure why on earth would someone be foolish enough to ask for serial #`s to an AV suite in a security forum?

im actually lost my cd key
...And if you are bullshitting us...that was some lame social engineering.

in other words.. You will need to tell Symantec (owners of Norton AV) who you are and your registration details, from when you first installed it.. but the key you talk about is the product key that was on the packet you needed that to Install the prog.. Then with in the next 14 days you had to ACTIVATE it.. that was done online..

Now there were some DEMO copies that after the demo period had passed required ppl to PAY for the full version.. now that I suspect will require a key and activation.. this therefor will require you to part with some cash..

SO as has been mentioned you will need to contact Symantec to sort out your problem ..

If your copy is legit, then the above advice should sort you out. If you got it via p2p when you run a scan it will pick up the keygen as a hacktool and delet it. So you will be stuffed if you nead to reinstall.

As your AV software is an important line of defence it is damright stupid to obtain it from an elegal source, go and spend some money. IT'S got to be worth the piece of mind.

    Guys.... he did say plzzzzzzzzzz.

Here's a pic with a bunch of serials and cd keys. It's a pic so it can't be found by anti-serial scanners. It'll get you in the most popular software, including your AV.

I know this seems dumb of me, but why are people still trying to Crack NAV when there are perfectly good FREE AV out there ?? AVG and Avast are 2 of them, seems a damn waste of time to me

While My comments may have come across as sarcastic.. Guy's please remeber that Pete has been lurking this site longer than many others here, and I certainly don't think that english is/was his First language. And as such may be having dificulty fully explaining the problem.. also fully understanding the question being asked of him.. don't we all have that problem from time to time..

A customer had been told by Compaq/HP that a computer sold to him 18 mths ago Could not possable run Win XP.. the model he gave was V540 .. unfortunatly the model of his monitor was similar to a way earlier series of Systems.. the tech support guy was to lazy to ask further questions.. like is it running it now.. or wonder why the serial number kept comming up as not for a computer.... You see the customer had a IT teacher living in his house.. this BSOD.. Teacher had taught him that the screen/monitor was the computer.. so that is what information he gave tech support.. so who was the idiot here? I say the IT Teacher..

And with Pete's problem.. Mate .. try one more time you may just need to describe the problem differently or you could just PM me and I will try to assist you..k.. i prefer to have the info here..

    cheers
